LGBTQ History Month: Bringing the Past to the Present

Every October is LGBTQ History Month, but teaching about LGBTQ History doesn’t end when November begins. Join Bex Mui, M. Ed., she/her, Director of Stonewall’s National Education Project (SNEP) and former classroom teacher, for a facilitated discussion on bringing LGBTQ history to life in your classroom. Bex will share resources from Stonewall’s National Museum and Archives, along with other free and available resources for K-12 educators. Participants will have the opportunity to share what they’re doing and to strategize how to bring LGBTQ-inclusive curriculum to their schools this October – and throughout the year.
